The word "Hypnosis" can sound intimidating to many, and I completely understand!
For many, the image of hypnosis is someone sitting in front of you with a pocket watch, making you lose all awareness, only to wake up acting completely differently. This dramatic portrayal has fueled misconceptions about what hypnosis truly is.
In this post, I’ll share why QHHT (Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique) is much more like a "guided meditation" and why the term "hypnosis" might not fully capture what this powerful method offers today.
The Origins of QHHT: Dolores Cannon’s Journey
Dolores Cannon began her exploration of hypnosis in the 1960s, helping clients with issues such as quitting smoking and losing weight. Then something extraordinary happened—one of her clients began recalling vivid memories of another life.
This life appeared entirely unrelated to their current situation but turned out to belong to someone from the 1920s, a fact Dolores later verified through historical research. If you’re curious about her groundbreaking early work, I highly recommend her book "Five Lives Remembered," where she recounts the origins of what we now know as QHHT.
A Shift in Awareness
In the 1960s, most clients would enter a deeply unconscious state during hypnosis sessions. However, Dolores observed a significant shift in the 2000s—more and more clients began remembering their journey during sessions.
Dolores attributed this change to the evolution of human consciousness and the global awakening unfolding on our planet. This means that during a QHHT session today, you’re likely to remember the experience and wake up feeling as much as you do after a daydream or a deep meditation.
Connecting with Your Higher Self
For many of my clients, QHHT acts as a bridge, helping them connect with a deeper part of themselves often referred to as the "higher self." Dolores called this the "SC," or Subconscious—though a better term might be Superconscious.
What’s truly remarkable is how familiar this part of yourself feels when you establish contact with it. It’s not something external or far away; it’s an integral part of you, always within reach.
Why I Love QHHT
This is why I’m so honored to offer QHHT sessions. It’s a privilege to witness the profound healing and transformation that many of my clients experience.
If you’re curious, feel free to reach out with any questions. You’re warmly invited to join me for a QHHT session in my beautiful barn here in Oppdal, Norway.
Much love,Bergy
